Praised by audiences and critics alike for her “perfect” (Oberbayerisches Volksblatt), “brilliant” (Salzburger Nachrichten) and "amazing" ( technique, as well as for her "clear narrative voice" (San Francisco Classical Voice) and "strongly driving sense of line, together with the color of her playing" (San Mateo Daily Journal), Miranda Liu is one of today's most exciting young classical violinists. Her exceptional talent and compelling interpretations garner admiration from audiences internationally.  "Wonderful" and "breathtaking" (New Jersey Arts Maven), her extensive musical knowledge and emotional intensity can be heard in her performances of master works - from the Baroque, Classical and Romantic eras to the fresh new works of present day composers.

Miranda is the recipient of numerous awards, scholarships, and first prizes. She has performed in hundreds of concerts as a concerto soloist, recitalist, chamber musician, and concertmaster throughout the USA, Austria, and Hungary, as well as in Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, and the UK. She plays in such distinguished venues as Carnegie Recital Hall, Philadelphia's Verizon Hall, Providence's Veteran's Memorial Auditorium, Miami Beach's New World Center, Zagreb's Croatian Music Institute, Bucharest's Radio Society Concert Hall, Budapest's Liszt Academy of Music, Palace of Arts, and Pesti Vigádo, Vienna's Konzerthaus-Mozartsaal, Santander's Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria, Vilnius' National Philharmonic Hall, and Salzburg's Wiener Saal, Solitär, and Carabinierisaal, and China's National Centre of the Performing Arts, among many others. She has soloed with numerous orchestras, such as: Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra, National Radio Orchestra Romania, Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonisches Orchester Budweis, Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, Norddeutsche Philharmonie Rostock, Danube Symphony Orchestra Budapest, Philharmonie Salzburg, György Solti Chamber Orchestra, Orquestra de Cámara Galega, Ensemble de Cuerdas del Encuentro Santander, Váci Szimfonikus Zenekar, Anima Musicae Kamarazenekar, Neues Sinfonieorchester Berlin, New World Symphony in Florida, Rhode Island Philharmonic, Las Vegas Philharmonic, Redwood Symphony California, Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey, Liszt Academy Chamber Orchestra, West Bohemian Symphony Orchestra, Festival Chamber Orchestra of Balassagyarmat, Starling Chamber Orchestra Cincinnati, and the Old York Road Symphony in Pennsylvania, among others. Ms. Liu regularly performs at prestigious music festivals worldwide, and works on an extensive and broad repertoire with the most renowned music pedagogues. Her chamber music mentors include András Keller and Miklós Perényi.

In September 2016, at the age of 19, Miranda Liu was appointed concertmaster of Europe's esteemed Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra (founded in 1907).

Miranda Liu began early music studies with her pianist mother and subsequently received her first violin lessons at age four in her native California. At ten, the Pennsylvanian began studying with Prof. Paul Roczek at the Mozarteum University Salzburg as a member of the Leopold Mozart Institute. She commenced the Bachelor of Arts degree (Violin Performance) there at age 14. At the same time, she began working with Prof. Eszter Perényi in Budapest and eventually at the Liszt Academy of Music as a scholarship holder in the Erasmus Exchange Programme. She was awarded scholarships such as:  Friends of the Liszt Academy, Liszt Academy Foundation, Bank of China, and Scholarship of the Republic of Hungary. After graduating summa cum laude from the Liszt Academy and earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2015 as well as a Master of Arts degree in 2017, Liu became the youngest person in the history of the prestigious institution to be admitted into their Doctoral School. Miranda Liu performs on a rare and beautiful violin made by  Nicoló Amati in Cremona, c. 1676, loaned to her by a private sponsor, and a violin made especially for her in 2014 by Samuel Zygmuntowicz in New York.
